Gifts That Keep on Giving for Dads & Grads
Dad - Get Ready to Play
Whatever hobby the Dad in your life likes to pursue, a basket full of themed treats and small supplies is fun for both the giver and recipient. If he’s a golfer, Dad could use some colorful socks – as well as golf balls, accessories and handy little snacks for refueling on the course.
Grad - Treats From Far Away
If your graduate is headed to the far corners of the world, care packages from home are always welcome. Start by getting six or so small boxes. Label each of them by month, and address them properly. Send the first box to the grad, and promise new installments every month. When ready to ship, fill the boxes with sweets and snacks, school supply refills, deluxe bath products and family greetings.
Dad - Sweet Thoughts Every Day
Show him you care with homemade treats! Have the kids help make a batch of Dad’s favorite cookies. While the cookies are baking, the kids can write little notes or draw fun pictures. Place two or three cookies, along with a note or drawing, in resealable snack bags, and place the bags in a large, colorful freezer-proof container. Wrap the container for the Father’s Day presentation, and after the big reveal keep it in the freezer. Dad can grab a little bag every day to tuck into his lunch for work, enjoy a snack at his desk, or rely on any time he needs a little pick-me-up!
